This addition to the existing CNC machine enables Arch City Granite to meet the increasing demand for granite countertops in the St. Louis, Missouri area. Arch City Granite opened its granite fabrication facility in St. Louis in 2005 and began by acquiring sophisticated CNC stone cutting machine and all other supporting machines manufactured by world renowned CMS Brembana of Italy.

This increased customer base has created a need to augment the company’s production capabilities.

The process of cutting and shaping stone into custom shapes with hand held tools is a time-consuming and tedious process that requires highly skilled craftsmen. It is practically impossible to find several stone craftsmen to handle all of the fabrication needs. Obviously, that results in lower standards in countertop fabrication and creates the opportunity for imperfections such as jagged cuts or splintered edges to arise.
