First, quartz and granite are both excellent choices for stone coffee bars and conference tables, but understand the difference between the two materials:
- Quartz is engineered stone consisting of about 90 percent natural quartz, other minerals, color elements and plastics. It looks like natural stone and can have a wide range of dramatic patterns and colors.
- Granite is a naturally quarried stone that we cut and customize here at our Arch City Granite & Marble plant in St. Louis. We have many granite slabs in a variety of colors and patterns, such as Fusion granite or Mary Blue granite, to create inspiring and impressive conference room tables — each piece looks like a work of art.
